Refund policy

A flat-rate ad slot must produce founder traffic or you don't pay. Here's exactly when you get money back, when you get a free month, and how to ask.

The promise

If your ad gets fewer than 100 clicks or 5 signups in the first 30 days, the next month is free. Just email me: no forms, no calls, no hoops. Clicks are counted by the audited rules at /methodology/click-fraud — only real founder clicks, bots and datacenter traffic excluded.

How to claim it

  • You don't need to email. Jorge pulls the rolling-30-day report on the 1st of each month for every advertiser.
  • If your slot fell under either threshold (100 clicks or 5 signups), the next month's invoice is automatically zeroed out.
  • If you'd rather a Dodo refund of the prior month than a free next month, message Jorge from /contact within 14 days of the invoice.
  • No forms. No support tickets. No phone calls.

Cancelling mid-month

Yes. Cancel anytime from your dashboard. Your spot keeps running until the end of the billing period and isn't renewed. No prorated refunds, no credits, no surprise charges.

Chargebacks

Chargebacks are the nuclear option — they cost both sides money and take weeks. If something feels wrong, message Jorge first from /contact. He'll refund disputed charges directly via Dodo, faster than any chargeback would resolve.

If the audited bot rate drops below 95%

Per /methodology/click-fraud, if any month's audit shows real-rate below 95%, every advertiser gets that month free, automatically. No email, no form, no opt-in. The bot rate has been at or above 99% since launch.

Edge cases

  • Ad rejected at upload: refunded in full. The slot never goes live, so you pay nothing.
  • Destination URL goes unreachable mid-month: advertiser's responsibility, no refund. But message Jorge if you didn't catch it — he'll work something out.
  • Slot paused for content-policy violation: prorated refund of the unused days.
  • Platform downtime ≥24h in a billing period: prorated credit applied to next month, automatically.
